Grinding Gear Games opened official registration for the free version of Path of Exile 2, allowing the community to unlock exclusive cosmetic rewards ahead of its December 11 launch. Players only need to enter their email on the official portal and confirm their sign-up to secure these gifts without paying.
The announcement represents an excellent opportunity for those eagerly awaiting the anticipated sequel to the popular action role-playing game. The studio implemented a community campaign that rewards users interested in joining the experience from its very first day of general availability across platforms. This initiative aims to gather as many adventurers as possible to prepare the server infrastructure for millions of incoming players worldwide.
Cosmetic rewards and community milestones
The system designed by the studio links sign-ups to global milestones shared by all interested players. As more users confirm their accounts and sign up on the platform, different cosmetic effects are unlocked to customize characters in the game.
Having already passed key milestones during the early stages of the campaign, everyone who joins this process is guaranteed access to exclusive visual items. These cosmetic goods will be added directly to linked accounts once the title becomes publicly available in December, granting unique visual flair to early adventurers.
A fundamental point of this initiative is that it does not require spending money or purchasing prior supporter packs. Although the title had paid early access periods, current registration focuses on the conventional free-to-play format, letting anyone interested join the player base without financial barriers. Furthermore, all rewards are purely cosmetic, strictly maintaining the franchise's philosophy of avoiding pay-to-win mechanics.
How to take part in official registration
Completing the process is straightforward and takes just a couple of minutes through any web browser. Interested users must visit the official Path of Exile 2 portal, locate the registration form for the full launch, and submit a valid email address.
Afterward, the system sends a verification email to validate identity and confirm entry on the official list. By verifying that link, the account is fully set up to receive the unlocked cosmetics once servers officially open their doors. Players are advised to check their spam or promotions folder if the confirmation link takes a few moments to arrive.
The developer confirmed that this campaign will remain active continuously until December 11, the exact moment pre-registration ends and the worldwide rollout begins. Players looking to secure these visual effects at no extra charge have until that deadline to confirm their email and join the community before the grand opening.
