Level Infinite and SHIFT UP announced that the 4th anniversary update for Goddess of Victory: Nikke will launch on October 29, 2026, giving away the SSR unit Rapunzel: Sanctuary alongside hundreds of free rewards and official Spanish language support.
The celebration marks four years of the sci-fi mobile and PC action RPG, which has already surpassed 45 million downloads worldwide. To celebrate this milestone, the development team led by game director Yoo Hyongseok prepared one of the game's biggest content updates to date, highlighted by generous direct gifts for every Commander logging in during the anniversary period.
New Playable Units and Free Rewards
The centerpiece of the festivities is the addition of the support unit Rapunzel: Sanctuary, featuring a papal-inspired design and high mobility powered by Red Shoes technology to quickly maneuver across the battlefield. Players will be able to claim up to four free copies of this SSR character through anniversary activities, allowing everyone to break her level limit without spending summoning resources.
Additionally, the event will distribute up to 259 free recruitment pulls and grant 4th Anniversary Nikke Selection Boxes. Inside these special chests, Commanders can pick between Rapunzel: Sanctuary, Chime, Rapunzel: Pure Grace, or Snow White: Innocent Days.
The playable roster will also welcome Marian: Queen, who challenges the Space Queen in order to build a world where her comrades no longer sacrifice their lives, alongside Scarlet: Goddeath (Hongryeon: Goddeath). The latter is an upgraded version enhanced in Eden featuring heavy armor and a dark matter blade forged from Jang-hwa's broken swords, capable of cutting through Lilith.
Four new costumes are also arriving: Marian: Queen receives the wedding dress Last Affection, Snow White: Heavy Arms gains the Lacrimosa outfit in the gacha system, and battle passes will introduce Neon_Vision and Nayuta_Vision.
Crucial Story Chapters, Spanish Support, and Stellar Blade Collab
The overarching plot will reach a major turning point with Main Chapters 49 and 50. This arc depicts the 3rd Surface Reconquest War, an all-out battle that concludes the storyline of the Underground Ark while teasing a brand-new narrative era. Players will also experience the MARIA-n story event, following Marian as she awakens in a mysterious research facility and explores the surface.
To complement the lore, the update adds Fading Affection, a visual novel minigame with branching choices exploring forgotten memories. Moreover, the Tracing the Stars musical collaboration with Stellar Blade brings 22 tracks, four free songs, custom note charts, and minigame backgrounds.
A long-awaited addition for Spanish-speaking fans is full text localization in Spanish, making the global experience entirely accessible. Real-world events will also accompany the milestone: on October 29, Goddess of Victory: Nikke will take over digital billboards at One Times Square in New York, followed by a themed pop-up with 3D art and merchandise at Animate Los Angeles running from October 31 through November 14.
