Epic Games Store has made Home - A Unique Horror Adventure free to claim permanently for PC users, letting you keep it forever if claimed before October 29, 2026.
This special promotion is part of the digital store's horror seasonal campaign, offering an ideal opportunity to add an acclaimed indie mystery adventure to your personal game library. The promotion allows PC players to experience a distinct indie title without spending anything, bringing renewed attention to a classic narrative adventure celebrated by psychological thriller fans. It serves as an ideal pick for anyone seeking brief, atmospheric, and highly narrative experiences on their computer.
A mystery adventure where choices shape the narrative
Designed as a psychological horror adventure rendered in detailed pixel art, the game places players in the shoes of a disoriented protagonist who wakes up in an unfamiliar room. As you explore abandoned houses, dark corridors, and shadowy surroundings, the story shifts and evolves based on your direct actions, overlooked clues, and deliberate discoveries throughout the journey.
Unlike traditional horror titles that rely on jump scares or fast-paced combat against violent foes, this experience focuses entirely on subtle dread, ambient soundscapes, and subjective interpretation. Every clue inspected, door unlocked, and moral choice made influences the outcome, ensuring distinct playthroughs where uncovering the definitive truth rests on the player's perspective. Such strong replay value encourages players to dive back into the dark corridors to uncover hidden interpretations and piece together what truly happened.
How to claim your free copy on the store
Claiming the game at no cost is completely straightforward, fast, and accessible to any PC gamer. You only need to log in to the digital storefront with your account, head to the official store page, and hit the claim button before the promotional window closes.
Once added to your digital collection, the game remains permanently attached to your profile on the desktop client. You will be able to download, install, and enjoy it whenever you want in the future with zero additional subscription fees or hidden costs, making it a great addition for anyone seeking an atmospheric horror mystery to enjoy on late night gaming sessions.
